Towards the end of 2022, We started building Sailor Springs Glamping, offering guests a unique opportunity to pair their sailing adventure with and equally adventures overnight camping experience while visiting Bayfield, Wisconsin. Sailor Springs Glamping is a small, three-site campground located just two miles outside of the picturesque tourist town of Bayfield, WI, and 2023 will be our first year of operation. Two sites are spacious canvas tents and the third site is an off grid A-frame cabin.
Spread out over 5 acres of forest, the campground can only be reached by hiking in from Bresette Hill Road (only 2 miles from Bayfield). After parking at the trailhead, guests will need to gather their bags and hike into their glamping site. The trail winds through the woods, leading first to a valley where the seasonal Clarks Creek runs through in the spring. The first two campsites are on the other side of this valley. The trail can be steep in spots and requires a moderate level of fitness and mobility to reach the secluded campsites. The third site, the little A-frame cabin named Anchor, is a bit farther into the forest and sits on the edge of the spring-fed Brickyard Creek that flows year-round.
Sailor Springs Glamping offers a unique camping experience for those seeking adventure and peace in the woods. We are excited to provide this opportunity and pair it with True North Sailing Charters providing what is sure to be an extremely unique and memorable get-a-way. Join us on this journey to build a peaceful place to play and stay in the woods. Visit www.sailorsprings.com to book or for more information!
